First Tuesday:
Evening Get Together
Our regular venue is Drusillas Inn, Wigbeth, Horton, near Wimborne, BH21 7JH (Tel 01258-840297). Meetings start at 8.00pm. During the summer months we try to arrange scenic drives before finishing the evening at one of several popular locations.

July

Saturday 2nd July Blackmore Vale Revival Henstridge Airfield Somerset, BA8 0TN. Details, including the "flyer", are in the April Wessex Newsletter. Contact Pete Levett if you are interested.
Tuesday 5th July Supper drive Meet at Bolton Bench, Lyndhurst at 6.30pm departing promptly at 6.45pm. A scenic drive follows to end up at The Plough, Tiptoe. SO41 6FQ. Further details are on page 1 of this months newsletter. Organisers are Bill & Sally Imeson (email sally@imeson.co.uk).
Wednesday 13th July Drive & visit to Kingston Lacy Meet for coffee at The Old Farmhouse Tea Rooms, Burley, BH24 4AB. We will leave there about 11am to arrive at Kingston Lacy (a National Trust property) about midday. They have a food venue serving hot & cold food (their website has all the details). You can either meet in Burley or go straight to Kingston Lacy. Roger would appreciate knowing if you will be going on the Drive or meeting at Kingston Lacy (email rogermead111@btinternet.com).
Sunday 17th July Sherborne Castle Classic & Supercars Anyone interested should contact Harvey Ringrose for more details. Harvey will be giving out the Show Passes to all people that have already contacted him about participating.

August

Tuesday 2nd August Club night and run Meet at Sainsburys Ferndown 6-45pm to leave at 7 pm. A drive thru the New Forest to the Swan at Lyndhurst. Several members have commented that meals are becoming expensive on the evening runs & therefore people are not joining us for club night. We have decided that on this run members that wish to eat can check menu on line & order direct quoting mx5 club (or you can choose when you get there, but it could be a little wait). Organised by Hils Frewer & Ann Rayner.
Fri/Sat/Sun 5/6/7 August The Purbeck Rally Wessex has attended this event over the past 2 years. This time Richard Owen is gathering names of members who want to attend. Please indicate which days you want to attend (1,2,or3) . No charge for exhibiting but there is one for camping. Please contact him for more details (email richardwowen@gmail.com).

Wednesday 17th August Picnic & Cricket Capers Please bring your picnic for a sociable day in the New Forest. You can join in a "not too serious" cricket game -although this is NOT compulsory. As many spectators as possible welcome! Contact Roger Mead for details (email rogermead111@btinternet.com).

Sunday 18th September Drive & Seaton Tramway David & Audrey Russell are organising a drive to Seaton followed by a ride on the Seaton Tramway. Further details are on page 2 of this months newsletter. N.B. They need deposits of £5 pp for the tram by Tuesday 5 July.
