Club Spring Rally - Sunday 18 May 2008
Drive to the Club Spring Rally at Haynes, Sparkford. Departing from Tescos Blandford at 10.30 am to arrive at Sparkford at 11.30 am.. Find out more about this event (including program of events, accommodation and directions) or download a copy of the site map.

June club night - Tuesday 3 June 2008
A short scenic drive, starting from Tesco at Fleetsbridge, meets at 7pm for a prompt start and finishing up at the Bere Regis Golf Club for supper. If you do not wish to join the drive you are more than welcome to join us just for supper. There are a choice of meals at £10 per head. Don’t miss out please send your details and cheques as soon as possible. Download the menu and booking form here. Please return the booking form to Andy and Annette with the full payment per person. Please note: Andy and Annette are away at the end of May therefore it is essential that you complete and return this form to us no later then 20th May. No form no meal.

Val would like to send huge thanks to all those lovely people who have donated cakes and/or their time and energy to help us with the open garden days. You are such stars and we couldn’t open without you. I am thrilled to inform you that we have already exceeded our £1000 target with one more big open day on Wednesday. I will let you know the total raised by the end of the week.

Another Gliding evening?
If we can get a minimum of 10 members we can arrange another gliding evening at Kingston Deverill, as last year. Cost will be approx £26 pp, visits can be arranged on Wed, Thurs or Fri evenings, Fridays from 2.00pm onwards.Please advise Ray and Rosemarie Russell if you are interested, and preferred evening.

Wessex Area 10th Anniversary
To celebrate the Wessex 10th Anniversary in Feb 2009, we are currently investigating the possibility of a long weekend (3 night stay) at the Warner Bembridge Coast Hotel on the Isle of Wight. If we can get 40 people the cost would be approx £135pp for half board, plus return car ferry from either Lymington or Portsmouth of £20 per car. Would this be of interest? Please contact Allan Legg if you would be interested or have any further suggestions.

Wessex Area Info

The Wessex Area's regular monthly evening meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month, but during the summer months we try to arrange scenic drives before finishing the evening at one of several popular locations.

The meeting place may change from month to month so please check our events page to avoid a wasted journey or contact Allan Legg.
