Wednesday 16 May - Mid Week Drive

Sat/Sun 19/20 May - MX5 OC Spring Rally, Falmouth/Sunday 20 May - 3 Okefords Steam Fair, Shillingstone
Quite a few members are making the trip to the West Country for the weekend - or longer but if you are staying put then an alternative could be to visit 3 Okefords Steam Fair, Shillingstone. This is a fabulous alternative where instead of shiny clean and numerous MX5s there are lots of dirty, smelly, noisy traction engines bellowing out clouds of smoke and steam, sawing logs, making roads, towing things, chuffing about getting in the way. There are also 5 MX5s on display, getting covered in smuts from the chimneys and diesel fumes from the tractor pulling. All great fun! If you are not going to Falmouth come to Shillingstone.

Tuesday 5th June - Mid-Summer Supper Party
Join us At The North Haven Yacht Club from 19:00. Once again, we are indebted to Barney Steele at Magna Mazda as our sponsor. This year we hope to have a more fun evening than in any previous year. To this end, the fund raising aspect will be an auction and the proceeds will be passed on to a local charity, the Jigsaw Appeal. So don’t delay, fill in the BOOKING FORM (found at the back of the newsletter) as soon as possible or by Saturday 19th May with a note of what your plate of food will have upon it. Wessex Area Info
The Wessex Area's regular monthly evening meeting is held on the first Tuesday of each month, but during the summer months we try to arrange scenic drives before finishing the evening at one of several popular locations.
The meeting place may change from month to month so please check our events page to avoid a wasted journey or contact Allan Legg.
